Tour description:

First part:

We present the school and its social and musical project.

The music we play will be introduced: its birth, its origin, and the instruments we use.

Second part:

We made a sample of our music, presenting and playing the four main rhythms of the Colombian Caribbean region.

Third part:

You will be taught the four basic strokes to play the "Tambor alegre" ("happy drum"). Through various dynamics between the teachers and the group, you will be able to play the mother rhythm of our culture: the Colombian cumbia.

At the end of the workshop, we will make an artistic display full of surprise during which we will invite you to dance the Champeta to the rhythm of our resistance drums.
